Beesly 9: Round 7

Last round, Easter Beesly and her fiancee Zachary Lancaster moved in together and were married after completing college. Easter became pregnant, but when she went into labor she experienced some complications that caused her and Zachary having to switch houses. Eventually she gave birth to a son named Zyrtec.

Uh-oh...how did you get outside?

Zyrtec: Stairs bad!

Don't worry, I'll go let your parents know you're out here.

Easter: Zachary, I'm fine! Zyrtec is fine! Why can't we try for just one more?

Zachary: It's a miracle that Zyrtec and you both made it through that birth unscathed. Why should we try to tempt fate again?

Easter: Because Zyrtec is growing up fast, and I want another baby. And I want to try for a girl.

I'll just let these two work this out.

Zachary: Good night, little miracle boy.

So you're dead set against having another?

Zachary: I just don't want to risk it. If we knew for sure that what happened last time won't happen again I'd be all for it, but we don't know that. I don't want to risk losing Easter, especially now that we have Zyrtec to worry about.

Zachary: I need to think of ways I can distract her from wanting to have another baby.

Rome: Maybe you can take her to a concert?

I don't think that's going to work, Rome.

Looks like you won the argument...

Easter: I hope Zachary takes the news well.

So how did Zachary take the news?

Easter: He's incredibly worried. He won't let me lift a finger when he's around.

Well, you two still don't know what went wrong last time. Maybe it was something preventable.

Easter: But Zyrtec and I are both fine now. I wish he would relax a little bit.

Happy birthday, dear Zyrtec...

You're a very handsome young man, Zyrtec.

Zyrtec: Thanks!

Easter: Not much longer...

Has Zachary eased up?

Easter: No-he's more overprotective than ever.

Fire!

Easter: What do I do? What do I do?

Moving away from the flames would be a good start!

Looks like it's baby time! I hope everything goes alright...

Just one more...

Easter: It's a girl!

It's a blue girl! What's her name?

Easter: We'll call her Allegra.

And it looks like she has your hair and eyes.

Zyrtec: Look what I can do!

Easter: Wow, way to go Zyrtec!

Making a friend?

Zyrtec: Yeah. Madrid is really nice.

Duly noted.

So Zachary will be relieved that the baby was born safely, huh?

Easter: I hope so. Maybe this will convince him to ease up a bit.

He's just looking out for you.

Easter: I know...

So, Easter had the baby...

Zachary: She did? Is she ok?

Relax, Zachary. She's fine. Your new daughter is upstairs.

Zachary: Oh...say, is it snowing?

It was snowing about five hours ago.

Zyrtec: I got an A+!

Great job!

Uh-oh...we're gonna need another nanny...

Or not. Darn.

Nanny: You're sorry I didn't go up in flames?

Yes. Very much so.

Happy birthday, dear Allegra...

Aww, she's adorable. But I think a trip to the mirror and changing table is in order.

Much better...her skin really makes that dress stand out.

Easter: Come on Allegra...go potty like a big girl...

Easter: Come on, you can do it...

Nice going, Zachary.

Zachary: Thanks!

So is everything back to normal with you and Easter?

Well, I'll take that as a yes. And that just about wraps up the week.

Ok, one more cute moment before I go.

Easter: I love you, my second little miracle.

Aww...anyway, I'll see you guys next round.

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: So the glitch that happened with Zyrtec's birth was just that-a glitch. Allegra's birth went off without a hitch. And her skin was a surprise, too. I was expecting her to either be orange or dark-skinned like Easter.

Allegra is a cutie! Zyrtec needs eyebrows though. It was very sweet how Zachary was so worried about Easter.

The kids don't look very alike, do they? They have totally different skin hair and eyes! Maybe when they grow up their similarities will be more obvious.

YAY for a blue baby. It is in Zachary's genes. :)
