Halpert 4: Round 6

Last round Idina Halpert and Dakota Holiday moved in together after completing college. They were soon married and began chasing their lifetime wants. Idina's came easily, and by the end of the week she had been promoted to game designer. Dakota's however took more time, as he slowly worked his way up the natural science career track in hopes of earning $100,000. Idina soon became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl named Zoe.

So...why is everybody on the lawn.

Dakota: Well, you see...

And I can't help but notice that this isn't the same house I left you guys in.

Idina: We needed more space. We're planning to have more kids and the house we were in was much too small. And since we had enough money to afford someplace bigger, we decided to move on Monday so you wouldn't have to be confused about when to leave.

Ahh, very considerate of you. But I'm still not sure I approve of you guys moving. My supervisor would not be happy...

Congratulations, Dakota.

Dakota: Thanks.

Let me guess, you're going to tell me that the extra space helped you get the promotion.

Dakota: Um...yeah. Actually, it did.

Uh-huh. Sure.

Dakota: Can you say Daddy?

Zoe: No!

I guess the new house can't help with everything.

Happy birthday, dear Zoe...

And you're a very lovely young lady, Zoe.

Zoe: Thanks, mysterious voice.

Dakota: How was your first day?

Zoe: It was fine. Can we play red hands now?

Dakota: Sure.

Not feeling so hot, Idina?

Idina: No. It's weird, I'm sick and starving at the same time. Maybe I should go lie down.

Number two is on the way?

Idina: Well that explains why I'm starving. I'll just go and make myself something to eat.

Idina: Um, help! Somebody!

Relax, Idina. Just back away and the fireman will take care of it.

Idina: How can I back away? It's a fire!

Dakota: Have a good day at school, Zoe.

Zoe: Thanks, Dad. Have a good day at work!

Well, we'll see about that. Let's wait...

Nice!

Way to go, Dakota!

Dakota: Thanks. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to go and lie down for awhile. I didn't sleep that well last night.

The toilet fire dream again?

Dakota: Yeah, and it was the weirdest thing. In the dream I was married to Kalliope, you know, from down the street.

Hmm, well, dreams can be weird like that.

Zoe: I got my first A+!

Great job!

Any minute now, huh?

Idina: Yeah...

It seems we're going to have another "natural" birth. It's baby time!

Looks like Idina's twin genes haven't kicked in...

And...

Idina: We have a second girl! Meet Abby!

Great!

Idina: Mommy will be right back, honey. She's just really, really hungry...

Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on her.

And so far Abby looks just like Zoe did...

Glad to see you still have time to read to Zoe...even if it is in the middle of the kitchen.

Idina: This is as good a spot as any.

I guess so...

Man, you're a superwoman, Idina. Have a baby in the morning, fix the dishwasher in the afternoon.

Idina: Dakota won't go near the thing. He's being so cautious these days because of that stupid dream.

Well, can't say I blame him.

Happy Birthday, dear Abby...

And she looks exactly like her sister.

Idina: Come on, Abby. You can do it...

Love the new hairstyle, by the way.

Well, I think it's about time I moved on.

Dakota: Do you really have to go?

Yeah, I do. I have to go check in with Idina's sister. I'll see you guys next round.

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: Man, having a sim earn $100,000 is hard. And I forgot until I was done with the lot that Idina had earned the career reward for the gamer track-the pinball machine that pays $5 a sim-minute or so. That would have been helpful.

I wonder if Dakota will dream about being brought back from the dead?
