Mendoza 1: Round 8

After a brief hiatus, the mysterious voice has returned to Tranquility Bay. Last round (assuming my memory serves me right) Trinity and Joey saw their oldest set of twins, Nessarose and Glinda, grow to teenagers. Fiyero and Sarima grew from toddlers to children, and Trinity became pregnant for a third time. Desperate for a child with her green skintone, Trinity turned to cheesecake and gave birth to yet another set of twins, Melena and Boq.

Hi, everybody!

Joey: Well, look who finally decided to show up.

I know, I've been busy with some other mysterious voice duties. Have I missed anything important?

Joey: Oh, not really...just the onset of the roach flu.

The roach flu?

Ahh, the roach flu. Fiyero, get away from the bugs.

Fiyero: Why?

You'll get sick, that's why.

And the last set of toddlers finally grows up. Happy birthday dear Melena...

And mom made it home just in time for the party. Congrats on the promotion, Trinity.

Trinity: Thanks!

And Melena is a very lovely young lady just like her sisters.

Happy birthday dear Boq...

Um...I think Boq needs a new outfit before school tomorrow.

Boq: Why?

Because going to school dressed as a dragon is generally frowned upon.

Oh, this is going to be fun. Thanks, Fiyero, for playing with the roaches.

Again? You're already sick!

Fiyero: I know! That's why I'm trying to squash these bugs.

Huh? A cat?

Trinity: Yeah, don't you remember? We bought Fini from Tangerine and Jack.

Oh...I did not remember that.

What's going on?

Sarima: We can't stop coughing!

I know, I think its one of the symptoms of this "roach flu".

You too, Joey?

Joey: This is horrible. I can't do anything without having to stop and cough.

Trust me, it's annoying on my end too.

Happy birthday, dear Sarima..

and Fiyero...

Not bad. Have you chosen an aspiration?

And what about you?

Sarima: I want a life of pleasure.

Ok...could be worse...

Fiyero: I want a large family.

I can't honestly say I agree with it at this point, but ok.

And how fitting. On the night the two older kids turn to teens, rendering her services unneeded, the nanny lights herself on fire.

Or not. Hey nanny, they already had birthday cake.

Nanny: What? You can always use some crepes Suzette.

Um...hi.

Rosario: Hi.

May I ask what you're doing?

Rosario: We stopped by for the party.

Uh-huh...and may I ask what you're doing in Melena's bedroom?

Lawrence: This bench seemed really comfy.

Rosario: So did this chair.

Melena: Dad, could you help me with my homework somewhere? There are people at my desk.

Joey: Sure, we'll go into Sarima's room. I'm sure they'll leave eventually.

You know you could kick them out.

Joey: No need to be mean about it.

Of course not.

Oh, for the love of...who left the oven unattended?

Joey: I just went upstairs for a minute!

Which for you guys means you went upstairs for an hour.

Nice work. Sorry to tell you, though, your husband set the kitchen on fire.

Trinity: Oh, that's ok. Nothing burned, right?

No...

Glad to see the, ahem, bond between these two is still strong.

Boq: I got an A+!

Great job. Haven't seen a lot of you since you grew up.

Melena: I got an A+ too!

Again, great job!

Whew! That's perfectly do-able.

As is that.

Boq: Bang!

Melena: Stop it! I'm just trying to get to my homework!

Decided to take up the drums yourself?

Trinity: Fini likes to sing along.

How can the cat sing along to drumming?

Melena: I'm so glad we got you, Fini.

I am too-now I remember why I had your parents adopt her.

Melena: Mysterious voice, you did it again!

What?

Melena: You called me Sarima.

Oh, sorry. It's going to take awhile for me to remember who's who around here.

Melena: Mysterious voice!

Ok, Ok. I got it. You're Melena. I think I'd better get out of here before I get into any more trouble. See you all next round!

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: And to cap off my week of forgetfulness with this family, I forgot to take an ending picture and I forgot to get shots of Fiyero and Sarima's scholarships. I apologize about the wait for this post-for the month of November I participated for the first time in National Novel Writing Month and that took up the majority of my time. I actually played this lot in October, but am just now getting around to blogging it.
