Levinson 2: Round 8

Last round, Brooklyn and Trumpet Levinson were raising their sons Cinnimon and Oregano. Brooklyn became pregnant again to try for a daughter, and thanks to a midnight snack ended up with twins Nutmeg and Ginger.

Hi, guys!

Ginger: Hi, mysterious voice.

Where are your parents?

Nutmeg: I don't know. Outside somewhere.

Oh, there you two are. You know, it's pouring rain out here.

Although that doesn't seem to bother them in the least...

Looks like it's Oregano's birthday. Happy Birthday dear Oregano...

And he has the same bad haircut Cinnimon had. Don't worry, we'll fix it.

Oregano: No, I kind of like it.

Oh...ok, whatever. Have you picked an aspiration?

Oregano: I want a life of pleasure.

Following in your father's footsteps, I see.

Ginger: Is high school homework hard?

Oregano: Will you get out of here? You have your own room.

Ginger: But I have to do my homework in here so I can do it with Nutmeg.

Looks like Oregano is following in his father's footsteps in more ways than one. At least it's an easy one to get.

Um...burying something?

Trumpet: Oh, there's been a pack of wolves around. They dig up the yard every night.

I see.

Looks like the kids are socializing, that's a good sign. But I can't help but notice that once again you're hanging out in the boys' room.

Ginger: This is just where I come after school to put my homework down.

Nutmeg: I got an A+!

(Holds applause for other twin...)

Ginger: Me too!

Great job, both of you!

Hmm...this may work...

Nutmeg: Huh? What may work?

Never mind.

Trying to cook?

Oregano: Relax, I'm just making salad.

Good. We don't need anything burning down this week.

Brooklyn: Um, mysterious voice...

What?

Brooklyn: Um...surprise?

But...how...

Brooklyn: Aren't you supposed to...hear something when it happens?

Well yes, but you see I had some music on...and anyway, you didn't even have any morning sickness.

At least Manhattan is here for this sudden turn of events. And I could swear that looks like a full baby bump there...

Manhattan: So...you trying out for any sports or anything?

Nutmeg: I don't know.

Nice generic boy topics, Manhattan.

Manhattan: Hey, I have one daughter and a poodle. I'm doing the best I can.

Do I even want to know what you're doing?

Oregano: I'm checking out my sweet moves.

Uh-huh...

What...aren't you supposed to grow again before this?

Brooklyn: Well, it's coming anyway!

You mean they're coming anyway. Of course...

Brooklyn: It's a girl!

Great, we've still got an heiress. And her name is...

Brooklyn: Rosemary.

And on to round two...

Brooklyn: It's another girl!

Awesome. Name?

Brooklyn: Parsley.

Ok, let me get some close-ups...

Ok, so we've got blonde hair and brown eyes....

And blonde hair and brown eyes. This is going to be fun.

Don't you guys want to go upstairs and meet your sisters?

Nutmeg: Nah. It's more fun playing out here.

Ginger: I don't see why Mommy had to have two more babies anyway. Things were fine the way they were.

Well, sometimes things don't go as planned.

And you two are taking out your tension by...beating each other with pillows in your bathroom?

Brooklyn: Well, we just kind of ended up in here.

Trumpet: We've been all over the house.

Working out?

Trumpet: I've gained some weight since the babies were born.

Well, I'll leave you to it then.

And looks like Oregano is finally stepping into the dating pool.

Hmm, the gypsy's getting good.

What...oh, ok. I guess it's the babies' birthday tonight to. Happy birthday, dear Parsley...

She looks exactly like Ginger did...

Happy birthday dear Rosemary...

And so does she...except with a very age-inappropriate hairstyle.

I guess a trip to the potty comes before a trip to the mirror.

Trumpet: Yup.

Sorry I missed your date...how'd it go?

Oregano: Not great.

Don't worry about it-there was too much else going on around here.

Case in point-I completely forgot about these two. Normally I wake up Sim kids who go to sleep in their parents' beds but I think I'll leave these guys alone for tonight.

Come on, Rosemary...you can do it...

Brooklyn: Hey, that's my line...

And you're in charge of Parsley?

Trumpet: For walking anyway.

Nutmeg: Um...good job learning to walk.

Glad to see you're finally bonding.

Nutmeg: Mom said I have to.

And who is this?

Nutmeg: I don't know. I just found him. Can we keep him?

Seeing as how he's a wolf, I would venture to say no.

Looks like these two are finally hitting it off. Though, Oregano aren't you freezing?

Well, I guess that's one way to keep warm.

What's this...someone actually put a toddler into outerwear before bringing them out in the snow? What a concept!

Ginger, what are you doing?

Ginger: I'm knocking over the snowman.

Um...why?

Ginger: I don't know. It was just fun!

Thankfully these two aren't going to be lost in the middle for much longer. Happy birthday dear Ginger...

and Nutmeg...

Well, I'm changing your outfit before I leave. Have you chosen an aspiration?

And what about you Nutmeg?

Ginger:
I want lots of friends!

What a surprise...another popularity sim this round.

Nutmeg: And I want a life of pleasure!

What, was this round brought to us by the letter "p"?

Well, Ginger and Nutmeg are staying back until next round, but it's time to see how Oregano did. Not too bad...

I found this hilarious. Oregano dates Dell, and the next day Dell's mother calls and asks him to go downtown with her. Well, at least now he'll be on good terms with her when he moves in with them!

And now I must be on my way. Oregano, I'll see you at graduation. Everybody else, I'll see you next round!

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: Yes, I was surprised by Brooklyn's pregnancy. Trumpet had a want to Woo-Hoo early in the week, and I didn't click Try for Baby. Unfortunately Risky Woo-Hoo decided to strike. At the time I had my game muted and was listening to music, so I didn't hear the chimes. And Brooklyn really had no morning sickness and didn't grow on the 2nd day, so I thought I was in the clear. So I might have had her eat a plate of cheesecake out of the fridge instead of cooking. At least they were both girls so they still have a female heiress.
