Halpert 2: Round 9

Welcome to another eventful week at the Halpert house. Last round was filled with paranoia as Tracie learned in school about a mysterious new occurrence in the universe that was, in her mind, going to be the end of the world. After she grew to a teenager and convinced her parents of this, the mysterious voice was finally able to lay her fears to rest only by showing her that this new development was, in fact, co-existing with her world, not replacing it. She also continued to develop a bond with her cat, Jamie. Now, Tracie has returned from college with her fiancee, Taurus Beesly.

Whoa! Somebody upgraded the real-estate.

Apple: We barely could fit two generations in that other house. You really expected us to have 3 crammed in there?

I guess not.

And it looks like Tracie is well on her way to becoming Captain Hero...

How's Jamie liking the new house?

Tracie: Oh, she's loving it. Especially the new giant scratching post.

Looks like Taurus found himself a career as well...

Um, do you two want to be left alone?

Tracie: It would be nice.

Ok...I'll just go busy myself downstairs with Jamie.

(Yawn) Bixby Rabbit...

Gee, what a shock...

Nice going, Shawn!

Shawn: Thanks! Now I've got to go get ready for the party.

Party? What party?

Oh, it's wedding time. And I guess it's true that men only have one thing on their mind on their wedding day...

At least the outfits aren't too horrible.

Let's...chill the school!

Nice!

Tracie: Oh, my...

Well, even though you don't look it...I'd say by your facial expression that you're pregnant.

Tracie: I think so.

More flowers?

Shawn: I stopped by the Schrute's the other day...

Yes, yes, I know. And the house smelled so good, and you want to have the same flowers they had over there. This town is starting to look like a giant garden...

Way to go, Taurus!

Taurus: Thanks!

Oh, boy! Looks like it's baby time...

Looks like it's just one...

And...

Tracie: It's a boy! Meet baby Jesse.

Wow, a new son and a promotion. Good day for you!

Taurus: I know.

And it looks like Jesse's taking after his dad...

Kick them off campus!

Uh-oh...

Sorry about that, Taurus.

Taurus: That's ok. It wasn't my lifetime want anyway.

Happy birthday, dear Jesse...

His skin and hair might be his dad, but his face is all his mom.

Again?

Tracie: Well, I wanted to try for a girl...

He's a cute little guy, isn't he? Now, I really should be going....

Oh, I guess I can stay to see the baby.

And...

Tracie: It's another boy! Meet baby Anthony.

Great, but now I really do have to go. I'll see you guys next round.

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: Not too eventful, I know. It is sort of depressing to know that it took me more than a year to get back to these guys. I played this lot last in June/early July of 2009 (when Sims 3 first came out). Now it's September of 2010-a full year and 2 months later. This town is getting too big.

I hear ya on the too long to get back to a lot.

2 boys! The game can't help you out. I have given up on girl heirs for all the houses except for the 6 starters. I have too many sims already.
