Warner 3: Round 10

Last round was pretty crazy for the Warner house with 4 of their 6 children still in the nest. Middle sons March and Ash aged up from children to teens, while younger twins Birch and Willow grew from toddlers to children.

Hi, guys! What's for breakfast?

Willow: Hamburgers.

Hamburgers for breakfast?

Birch: Mom and Dad are still asleep. These were in the fridge from last night.

Oh, great. These guys have the gamer reward too. I'm getting really sick of that music.

Birch: Hey, give me a turn on that!

River: Bryan, why are you bowing?

Bryan: I'm welcoming you to my home.

River: Um...ok.

Ok, I'm not leaving lots with Sims so close to aging anymore. Sorry you didn't get a cake, Bryan.

Bryan: That's ok.

Willow: Mommy, is today you're birthday too?

Brooke: Yes, honey. Just let me get inside...

Well, at least Brooke aged up near a cake. Although that shirt has to go...

Man, it's just birthdays all around tonight, isn't it? Happy birthday dear Birch...

...and Willow...

Again, not bad except for the outfit. Those Lancaster cheekbones are strong.

They seem much less pronounced on Willow, though.

Ok, guys. Aspiration time. Birch, you first.

Birch: I want a huge family.

Well, the huge part is debatable but ok, family it is.

What about you, Willow?

Willow: I want family too.

Ok, that makes it easy I guess.

Brooke: I can't believe how grown up you both look.

The fact that she's wearing the same pajamas as you probably has something to do with that.

Brooke: Have a good first day of high school, Birch.

Birch: Thanks Mom.

Brooke: Willow, shouldn't you be studying?

Bryan: Relax, she can get a scholarship for dancing.

Brooke: Ok, if you say so.

Well, at least one twin has an easy lifetime want.

This one may require some discussion...

Um, let's send away...

Oh, no...although, just like Ross Schrute it appears that Bryan wasn't actually fired. They did take the $40,000 though....

Willow: Hi, so, do we like, pay by the hour for you to come over? Oh, it's by date? Ok, because we need two...

Looks like it's gypsy time. Ok, gypsy, let's get this right this time. We've been kind of slacking on the dating this round.

Hmm...March Beesly. This could work...

Willow: How come I haven't seen you at school?

March: Ugh, my mom signed me and my sisters up for this snooty private school. It's so lame...

Glad to see March is still complaining about the school change, even on a first date.

Let's see if Birch does better...

Whoa, Florida, when did you change your hair?

Florida: Huh? I don't know, a little while ago.

Looks like Birch doesn't mind any!

Willow: Can I try again?

March wasn't doing it for you?

Willow: He seemed nice enough, but his attitude was a little rough around the edges. I think I can do better.

Maybe his cousin Ben will be a better match?

Yup, looks like it!

Whoa, Birch, take it down a few notches, would you? Your parents are both still home.

Brooke: Um...help!

Oh, good. It's been awhile since we've had a fire around here.

Well, before we head out, let's see how the twins did on their scholarships. Looks like Birch did pretty well...

...as did Willow. And it looks like Bryan was right about that scholarship for dancing. Ok, well, it's time for me to be on my way. Willow and Birch, I'll see you guys at graduation. Everybody else, I'll see you next round.

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: Not much excitement on this lot. I realized while playing these guys that I haven't paired up many of the teens this round. I need to get on that during the second half of this round. You may have also noticed a font change-I'm experimenting with different screenshot tools again. Since moving over to Sims 2 SC, my game has the cut scenes enabled again. I had originally disabled them specifically because they were hard to capture using Skitch; Skitch can only have one "active" screenshot at a time, so each time I take one, I have to pause the game, crop, add names, and then drag into a folder before taking another. If I do that during a cinematic, I often end up missing most of it during these steps. So I've been browsing the app store for new screenshot programs. This was the test run of Voila. It worked ok, but I'm not a fan of the tool layout.

Another fun round. It will be fun to see who all gets paired up with each other.
