Levinson 4: Round 10

Last round, Ginger Levinson and Alan Scott moved in together after completing college. While Ginger took a day job in the journalism field, she also began preparing to start her real dream of owning 5 top rated businesses by setting up an art gallery. By the end of the week, the couple also had a daughter, Lily.

Hi, Ginger!

Ginger: Oh, hi mysterious voice. It's been awhile. Where have you been?

Um...just doing mysterious voice things. How's the painting going?

Ginger: Pretty well. Soon I should have enough to get the gallery up and running. I just need to wait for Alan to finish the outbuilding.

Well, at least you've got something to keep you occupied in the meantime. (I didn't think I'd ever be so surprised to see a toddler...)

Ginger: Wait, what? Why would you be surprised to see a toddler?

Uh...say, it's almost time for you to go to work, isn't it?

Ginger: Oh, you're right!

Um...let's tell them to propose.

Nice!

Congratulations, Ginger!

Ginger: Thanks. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up, though. If I want that art gallery to do well, I have to be able to have it open for more than a few hours in the evening.

When is that opening, anyway?

Ginger: Hopefully tonight after Alan gets home...and Lily's in bed...

Alan: Uh-oh...

What?

Alan: I just hope this snow doesn't keep people away.

Alan, I've seen your neighbors go outside and play in the sprinkler in this type of weather. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

See? You have a customer already.

Alan: Yes, I know I'm dressed a little strangely for an art gallery...let me explain...

Looks like we've got another big event tonight. Happy birthday, dear Lily...

Nice!

Lily: Thanks.

Now, let's get you an easel....

Lily: Why do I have to paint pictures in the middle of the night?

Because since you took a nap before you grew up, you're not dropping from exhaustion like your parents are.

Oh, hi Panther!

Panther: Hi, mysterious voice.

Hmm...you two are actually pretty cute together...

Lily: Come on, Panther. Hurry up. I think I hear the bus!

Lily: I got an A+!

Great!

I bet you're pretty proud today, huh Ginger?

Ginger: Yeah, I certainly am! Check out how much her brushstrokes have improved...

I was actually talking about the report card...

Ginger: Oh, right. That too. Sorry, keeping this gallery stocked is much harder than I thought.

At least that means people are buying them, though. Right?

Ginger: I guess...

Knights with Swords.

Nice!

What? You still have the day job?

Ginger: I have to! Yes, people are buying the paintings but they can only buy as many as I can make. And even with Lily's help, we can only make a few per day.

Oh, great. A tree's on fire now too. That should drive customers onto the lot...

At least we get to end on a good note with Alan.

Alan: Thanks. I just wish there was some way I could help Ginger...

My advice?

Alan: Yes?

Learn to paint. And fast. See you guys next round!

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: Man, keeping up with two Prosperity Challenges is more difficult than I thought. Going between TS2 and TS4 is kind of jarring on both ends. It was weird seeing a baby age directly into a child in TS4, but after playing two rounds and then coming back to TS2 it was weird seeing a toddler again. Anyway, Ginger's art gallery was more successful than it looked, but it really is challenging to keep the paintings stocked with both of them working regular jobs. But on the plus side, Lily's creativity skill is pretty much maxed out!

How fun to have a gallery. I bet it is hard work though. I haven't played much with Sims 4, but the little bit I did was decently fun.
