Beesly 6: Round 10

Last round, Canary Beesly grew up from a child to a teenager. She began dating Connor Dawn (after giving him a makeover) and prepared for college. Meanwhile, Izzi gave birth to another litter of puppies, Sizzle and Nuzzle, leaving the family with five dogs by the end of the week.

Or at least they had five dogs...why are we giving up the puppies?

Canary: Thanks for giving Sizzle and Nuzzle a good home.

Allegra: Why are you giving them up?

Canary: Well, there just isn't enough room. With this many animals, Connor can't even move in, and there's no way we'd be able to have kids.

Connor: I'm sorry you had to give away two of your dogs.

Canary: It's ok. I think my mom knew that we'd have to give some of them up for adoption eventually.

What are you two doing?

Connor: I'm trying to get my skills up as high as possible before I start searching for a job.

Looks like Canary is following in her dad's footsteps.

And there's no better way to impress the in-laws!

Looks like a simple wedding for you guys?

Canary: I just don't feel up to a big party.

Let me give you guys some privacy...

Let's make them legal...

Nice!

Looks like that pre-studying paid off.

Connor: I'll say.

And this should give Connor a chance to catch up to his wife!

Nice job, Connor!

Connor: Thanks! Where's Canary? I want to go tell her the good news!

I think she's in the office...

Canary: That's great news, honey!...Uh-oh...

Connor: Uh-oh?

Looks like it's baby time!

Sparrow's twin genes still haven't shown up.

Canary: It's a boy!

What's his name?

Canary: We're calling him Crane!

Well he looks just like his mom so far!

Mexico: Shake!

Trying to train the dogs?

Mexico: It's time...

I think I agree with you, Mexico.

What festive winter celebration would be complete without a pillow fight on the front lawn?

Man, you're having a great first week, Connor!

Mexico: You're really moving up!

Connor: Thanks, Mexico. I'm doing the best I can.

Huh...wasn't I with you guys for Christmas last year?

Connor: How would I know?

Oh, right...

Connor: You excited for your first Christmas?

I don't think he really knows what's going on.

Those cookies look great, June.

June: Well they don't smell great. It kind of smells like smoke...but the oven is off...

Uh-oh...

Man, that didn't take long...that tree's only been up for about two hours.

Sparrow: (clears throat)

What?

Sparrow: I'm not Robin.

Oops...sorry. Happy birthday, dear Crane...

Well, he's all dressed up to meet Santa...

And just in time, too!

Canary: Wow, Santa!

Santa: Ho ho ho! Where are my cookies?

Canary: They're in the kitchen...

Santa: Now, I don't know if I can really put a family of criminals on my nice list...

Mexico: Well, there's more to us than our career choice, Santa. I mean, Canary graduated college with honors this year.

Santa: Well...ok...

Man, Santa's easy to persuade. I've been very misinformed.

Although the gift he left is really only appropriate for Crane.

Wait...didn't Crane already have his birthday?

Sparrow: No, it's mine and Mexico's.

Then why are you holding him?

Happy birthday, dear Mexico and Sparrow...

Mexico doesn't look too bad...

Ow! That just looks painful for everybody!

Aww, and it's Izzi's birthday, too. Well, it looks like it's time for me to be on my way. I'll see everybody next round!

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: Happy Holidays, everybody! I know that most years, I do a special entry on Christmas Eve, but seeing as how I've only updated four times since last year's holiday entry I decided a Christmas themed normal entry would be a better choice. 2013 was a pretty chaotic year, and I haven't had as much time to Sim as I would have liked. Hopefully things will settle down in 2014. I do still have every intention of finishing this challenge.

Beesly 5: Round 10

Last round, Valentine Beesly wasted no time starting her family with Toronto, though Toronto's romance aspiration meant that they skipped the wedding. Patrick and Hannukah were born not far apart. Meanwhile, the family welcomed one of the puppies of May's sister's dog, Winter. (Not West...it's been too long...)

Hi, guys!

May: Oh, look who finally decided to show up.

I know, I know. Where are Valentine and Toronto?

Pao: Valentine's at work...Toronto is asleep.

Life of a musician, I guess.

No...

Nice! Not that these guys need it...

Happy birthday, dear Patrick...

Not bad, but the pajamas should probably change...

Happy Birthday dear Hannukah...

I love it when the toddlers grow up with nice hairstyles.

Patrick, it's 6am. What are you doing?

Patrick: Just playing before school.

Well, careful not to wake anybody up. Your parents are not morning people.

Christmas cookies?

Patrick: This is what the nanny left out.

Well, the kitchen isn't engulfed in flames so I guess we shouldn't complain.

Valentine: Toronto, you're home all day. Can you please give the dog a bath? It stinks in here.

Toronto: I've tried! She keeps jumping out of the tub!

Oops...well, you can't win them all.

Man, a lot of birthdays this week! Happy birthday, dear Hannukah...

At least Patrick's old pajamas have some use now.

Let's go with Frostbite...

Oops...

Pao: Here's a trick...if you don't know the answer, just pick C.

Hannukah: But...it's not a multiple choice question.

Pao: It doesn't matter. C is almost always right.

Has anyone gotten around to bathing the dog yet?

Toronto: I'm getting to it...

Solo...

Now that's more like it! A good way to wrap up the week. I'll see everybody next round. (Hopefully the dog will have had a bath by then.)

A Message From the Mysterious Voice: I know, I know. It's been forever since I put up a blog post. Lots of real-life stuff going on lately. Not a whole lot going on in this house, either, although they did put off bathing that dog for the entire week. Didn't stop them from complaining about how much he smelled, though.
