Last round, Mandolin and Kumquat decided to make the most of the time they had with their four children, male twins Edward and Emmett and female twins Alice and Isabella, by taking them on an island vacation before they all became teenagers. Once they returned and the birthdays happened, the dating started in full force. In the end, the heiress to the house Isabella ended up with Topaz Halpert.
Wow, now all you guys need is someone dressed as a hula dancer and you'll be all set...
Isabella: Can we please go get better clothes?
Don't worry, I'm on it.
Better?
Topaz: Much.
Good. Now, judging by your position I should probably go hang out in another room...

And Topaz has landed in his choice career...
While I think Isabella might need to wait a few days.
Good to see you guys are still feeling up to the wedding, though. And the night wedding is a nice change of scenery.
Isabella: Isn't it great to have everybody in the house again?
Um, Isabella? You guys just left for college at the end of last week. It hasn't been that long.
Surprise?
Isabella: No, not really. I'm glad we had the wedding before this happened, though.

And even though she won't be able to go to work right away, Isabella is now in her chosen career too.
Well, it looks like somebody got over their fear of fire.
Mandolin: I learned this dance while we were in the islands.
Very cool, but may I suggest doing it outside?

Hey, look who came over!
Kumquat: I'm glad to see you've had a change of heart about your aspiration, son.
Edward: I didn't feel I had a choice, actually.
That's because you didn't.
Make them legal...
Nice!
Mandolin: Oww!
Wow, this is the first time I've actually witnessed a Sim get struck by lightning. Poor Mandolin just can't luck out. And good job helping her, grocery lady.

Man, there's just pain everywhere tonight. It's baby time!
No twin gene yet...
And...
Isabella: It's a girl!
Great! What's her name?
Isabella: We're calling her Esme.

Cute.
And she certainly favors Kumquat's side of the family, doesn't she?
Well, that was fast.
Topaz: I'm glad, though. I can focus on the baby now.
How's it feel to be a grandpa, Kumquat?
Kumquat: I already was one before she was born, but having her live here is quite a new experience.

Happy birthday, dear Esme...
Yup, she's a Halpert alright. Although I think I can see a little bit of Mandolin's family's influence in her face, too.
And so it begins!
Isabella: I'm just glad there's only one of her. I don't know how my parents did it with having two sets of twins so close together.
Topaz: Come on, Esme. You can do it...
Taking your turn while Isabella's at work?
Topaz: Yup. Somehow I thought days off were supposed to be relaxing...

Nice job, Isabella. Looks like you're on your way to your lifetime want, too.
Hey there, Halloween. What are you doing over?
Halloween: I don't know. Just thought I'd drop by. You know, you guys have a very nice yard but are all the fences really necessary? I had to walk around the entire house to get here.
Trust me, Halloween. You're not alone in that observation.

And I'm glad to see that after a day with the nanny Esme is still awake and fed...that's not always a given with the nannies in this town.
Well, it's just about time to make my exit. I'll just leave you two mature adults to your very important pillow fighting.
Kumquat: Bye, mysterious voice!
Kumquat: Bye, mysterious voice!
A Message From the Mysterious Voice: And after an extended break that was National Novel Writing Month 2010, I've finally gotten this post up. Technically, NaNoWriMo isn't over yet, but I hit the 50,000 word threshold yesterday so I have a little more time to get other stuff done now too. I'm torn about whether to have this couple have more kids. On the one hand, they have an heiress and I don't want to overpopulate the town. But on the other hand, they have a naming scheme I really like and I want to get all the character's names in there too. Plus, they have really good genetics.
