Last round, Joshua continued to put off getting married to Ashley, even as their three younger kids continued to grow. John grew to a teenager and prepared for college while twins Rainn and Jenna became children. At the end of the week, both Joshua and Ashley became elders.
Jenna: Daddy! You're home!
Joshua: Jenna, what are you doing up? It's way past your bedtime.
Jenna: Mom's been on the phone to aunt Pam all night. I heard her talking about a dragon-I'm scared!
Joshua: There's no dragons around here, Jenna. Now go get some sleep. You've got school tomorrow.
Have a good day, guys!
Rainn: Bye, mysterious voice.
Nice job, Jenna!
Jenna: Thanks. Gardening is really fun!
Happy birthday, dear Rainn and Jenna...
I think some clothes shopping is in order...
Make that double. Now, what aspirations would you two like?
Jenna: Popularity for me!
Alright...
Rainn: I want a life of romance!
Aww, man...I mean, alright. Now on to lifetime wants...
Jenna: I want to have lots of best friends!
Oh, you two can't make anything easy, can you?
Rainn: And I want to be just like my dad-a professional party guest.
Well, at least it's an easy romance LTW.
Jenna: So you don't believe all this stuff about dragons, right?
Pong: Well, I'm from the Far East. Those legends are a part of my culture...
Nice one, Jenna.
Jenna: Maybe I'll go on a trip to the Far East someday.
Steven: It is a really fun place to be. I love living there.
Jenna: You look so familiar-I'm not sure why...
Jenna: Wait a minute...is that Steven?
Where?
Jenna: In that picture, on the bottom shelf..
Hmm, sure looks like him, doesn't it?
Ahh, sibling relationships.
And now it's matchmaker time!
Matchmaker: Let's see what we can find for you today...
Kumquat: Yeah, I have a girlfriend already.
Jenna: Yes, I know.
Jenna: Perhaps I should have mentioned I needed a date who isn't seeing someone else?
Matchmaker: Always so picky...
Who is this?
Danton: The name's Danton Holiday.
Oh, ok.
Jenna: You're pretty cute...
Ashley: Joshua, I need to talk to you. We're both elders, we've both achieved our lifetime wants. I really, really want to be married.
Joshua: (sigh) Alright, Ashley. I guess it's alright. We have four kids together-it's not like I'm going anywhere anyway.
Ashley: Thank you, Joshua. We don't have to do a big wedding. We can do it right here at the house tomorrow.
Um, I think it would be better for everyone involved if you sang.
See?
Aww. I think we've got another established couple!
Time for the big moment?
Ashley: Almost. I just realized we never got engaged.
That would help.
So how does it feel to be a married man, Joshua?
Joshua: Not that different. We've already had the whole life together.
Better late than never.
Aww...and Manhattan is a fortune sim, she should be fine. Established couple #2 for this house!
Maybe you should have spent a bit more time skilling, Rainn.
Rainn: I'll be ok. I've got an "in" with my dad anyway.
Well, you did a little better. I'll see both of you at graduation!
A Message From The Mysterious Voice: Man, I'm glad this lot is over. I like these Sims, but for some reason this lot is always incredibly boring. Jenna's actually already halfway to her lifetime want-she had 10 best friends when I counted at the end of the week. And I finally bit the bullet and had Joshua and Ashley get married. They were both perma-plat, neither one had a fear of it and Joshua actually had a want for it-I figured it was time.
